Car starter motors

Reliable and long-lasting ignition

Car starter motors are devices that start the internal combustion engine. Main components: Electric motor (stator rotor): Rotates using current from the car battery. Bendix (driven pinion): Engages with the flywheel ring gear. Starter solenoid or relay: Acts as an electrical switch and pushes the pinion gear toward the flywheel. Drive shaft and housing: Guides the rotary motion; contains and protects the system. Brushes and commutator: Transmit electricity to the rotor with direct contact. Step-by-step operation: The driver turns the key or presses the starter button. → Current is sent from the battery to the solenoid. The solenoid activates the electric motor. → The pinion gear slides and engages the flywheel. The starter motor turns the crankshaft. → The combustion engine enters the combustion cycle. Once the engine starts, the pinion gear disengages. → The starter motor automatically disengages.
