German technology, superior performance

In the year 1886, in the vibrant city of Stuttgart, Germany, a young engineer named Robert Bosch He opened the doors of what he called the Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering Workshop. With just a few tools and an unwavering conviction, Bosch set out to offer high-quality technical solutions in a world that was just beginning to discover electricity as a transformative force.

What began as a modest workshop soon became a hotbed of innovation. Bosch was not only a brilliant technician, he also had a visionary spirit. In 1897, he made a crucial turning point by developing the first automotive ignition system, using magnets. This invention revolutionized engine reliability, paving the way for Bosch's full entry into the automotive world.

As the 20th century took off, Bosch expanded its company into new frontiers: manufacturing electrical components, diesel injection pumps, tools, household appliances, and, eventually, sensors for smart vehicles.

But the most remarkable thing is that it never lost its essence: a blend of precise engineering, commitment to quality and social responsibility.

More than a century later, what began as a humble workshop in Stuttgart is today a technological empire present throughout the world, guided by the motto that sums up its philosophy: "Innovation for your life."

Bosch is a leading global technology and services company that employs more than 420,000 people worldwide and generates annual sales of €88.4 billion. Its activities are grouped into four business segments: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy & Building Technology.

Bosch has four production centers in Spain, primarily dedicated to mobility solutions. These centers manufacture components and systems for the automotive industry, such as diesel and gasoline injection systems, braking systems, sensors, multimedia systems, and power electronics.

Bosch is also involved in Formula 1, providing technology and services to several teams. Bosch supplies electronic engine control systems, sensors, actuators, telemetry systems, and software to teams such as Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren. Bosch has been one of the leading technology suppliers for Formula 1 for over 40 years.
